We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, we are staying at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. Our room is great, very clean and large with a nice view of one of the canals with some gorgeous mega yachts tied up. I will post more 1pictures tomorrow when it is light out. We had dinner at Pelican Landing which is located right on site overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway, it was beautiful with all the lights. The mega yacht pictured here was docked right next to the restaurant and we were told it belonged to Steven Spielberg, I don’t know maybe our waiter was pulling our leg. But I gotta tell you it was HUGE, the name was Seven Seas. I had a fish burrito with avocados and a mango puree , delicious. Kelly had a blackened chicken sandwich that he also said was really good. It is nice to be the land of nice restaurants with good food and fabulous views.
Okay well it has been a long day , I am going to sit back and relax with a beer and try to get some sleep tonight. Didn’t get much last night worrying about getting everything done and not forgetting anything. But that has already flown out the window, Kelly forgot his electric razor and the clothes he was going to wear on the ship are still hanging in his closet at home. Good thing I packed him some extra clothes this morning. I am not sure yet what I have forgotten as I do not even remember what I put in those 6 suitcases we shipped last week.
